People who have taken two doses of the vaccine are reaching the hospital after getting infected due to ignoring the corona prevention standards. In the last one month, there were more than six percent of patients admitted in AIIMS and about five percent of patients admitted in PMCH who had taken both doses of the vaccine.

Most of these people are doctors or frontline workers. According to Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Corona Nodal Officer of AIIMS Patna and Dr. Arun Ajay, Corona Nodal Officer of PMCH, the vaccine works to prevent the dangerous side effects of the virus from entering the body. The vaccines currently being given in the country are effective even in the delta plus variant.

According to Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, about 50 new infected have been admitted in the month of July after the side effects of the second wave subsided. More than a month had passed since more than six of these people received the second dose of the vaccine.

Although most of these did not have serious symptoms, they can be severe in a person suffering from some other serious disease. In general, serious consequences can occur in 10 percent of people who have taken both doses of the vaccine. Of these, there is also a possibility of death of 0.4 percent.

Dr. Arun Ajay told that out of 157 doctors who died in the state, many people had taken both the doses of the vaccine. Bhabua`s medical officer was 35 years old.

The Indian Council of Medical Research estimates that four out of ten thousand people who take both doses of the vaccine in the country may be corona infected.

Now arrangements are being made in the state to collect its nationwide data. The Health Department will also take information about vaccination from those coming to get the corona tested and include it in the data. After taking the vaccine, genetic sequencing of infected people will be done.

The Kovid wards of hospitals like Patna AIIMS, PMCH may have been empty, but the sequence of getting infected is going on. On average, nine new infections are being found in the district every day for the last 12 days. district till Wednesday
