As soon as the matter came to the notice, the investigation was started and as part of the action, the principal has been removed from the post. The accountant has been suspended.

The account of Patna College was hacked. 62.80 lakh rupees were withdrawn from the college account from the Indian Bank branch and for about one and a half months the college administration did not know about it.

As soon as the matter came to the notice, the investigation was started and as part of the action, the principal has been removed from the post. The accountant has been suspended.

The Patna College administration did not get any idea of ??the breach in the account. The matter got heated when a check of Rs 16,000 bounced on July 17. When the reason behind the check bounce was ascertained, the information that came to the fore was shocking. Actually, there was very little money left in the account of the college.

It has come to the fore in the investigation that the vegetable company of Gujarat has withdrawn the money.
At the same time, Patna College`s Principal Prof Ashok Kumar Gaaz has fallen in the case of withdrawal of Rs 62.80 lakh from forged cheques.

The principal has been relieved of his charge and sent to the postgraduate Sanskrit department. In his place, Prof RN Sharma of the postgraduate department of sociology has been made the principal of the college.

Although the university administration has not convicted him, but the university administration says that since the departmental inquiry is going on, he has been relieved from the post at present, so that the investigation can be done in a more transparent manner. Investigation is going on in the said matter by the inquiry committee of the university.

The role of the accountant has been found suspicious in the initial investigation of the committee, due to which he has been suspended for the time being. In Gujarat, withdrawals were made through fake checks, which is being investigated by the university`s inquiry committee.
