Fearless thieves in Patna: Theft in journalist's house, was held hostage, thieves made omelette in the kitchen

In road number four of Rajivnagar police station area of ​​Patna, on Saturday night, vicious thieves took journalist Ajay Kumar Singh and other relatives hostage and stole property worth 20 thousand rupees including valuable clothes, utensils, two fitness watches, two thousand rupees in cash. The thieves took away even the lentils and rice kept in the kitchen.

Not only this, but he also ate an omelet in the kitchen. The journalists were sleeping in the bedroom with their families at the time of the incident. No one could come out, so the thieves had locked the doors of the rooms of the workers and journalists living in the ground floor of the house from outside.

When the victim journalist woke up on Sunday morning, the bedroom door was found locked from outside. In this case, an FIR has been lodged on behalf of the victim against unknown thieves in Rajeevnagar police station. The police are involved in the investigation of the matter.

According to the victim, he lives with his family on the first floor of Sunil Kumar`s house on Rajivnagar Road No. The landlord`s staff lives on the ground floor. He came home from his office at around 11 pm on Saturday night. He was awake till about two o`clock. After that he went to the bedroom and slept. After this the thieves came to the first floor through the ground floor and entered the balcony. After this the thieves opened the balcony door with the master key.

After entering inside, the thieves locked the door of the bedroom from outside. After this the locks of the other three rooms were also opened with the master key. After this, they ran away with precious steel and brass utensils kept in the rooms and kitchen, two thousand rupees in cash, two fitness watches and rice and pulses. According to the victim, the thieves must have entered the house after around 2.30 pm. My pet dog was barking loudly when they entered.

The light was off from outside. The dog`s barking echoed to his ears, but he could not understand anything. Taking advantage of this, the thieves easily escaped.

The journalist says that the response of the police, who came to investigate after the information, was absurd. The police said, put a good lock in the house. Had it been a good lock, the thieves would not have been successful in their plan.

This is the second major incident of theft in the house of journalist Ajay Kumar. He told that two years ago there was a theft in the same house. In this case, FIR was registered against unknown thieves but till now neither the thieves were caught nor the police could recover the stolen goods. Told that recently, on the day of Teej, there was a horrific theft at the neighbor`s place.

It has been told that no CCTV camera has been installed in the house where the theft took place. Rajeevnagar police station in-charge Saroj Kumar said that efforts are being made to identify the thieves by searching the CCTV cameras installed nearby.
