Bihar: Two divisional commissioners among 8 IAS officers transferred

PATNA: The state government on Thursday ordered transfer of eight Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including the divisional commissioners (DCs) of Bhagalpur and Munger, and an Indian Railway Stores Service (IRSS) official.Bhagalpur divisional commissioner Dayanidhan Pandey has been made director, land consolidation, in the land reforms department, while Munger DC Sanjay Kumar Singh has replaced him.Additional secretary of art, culture and youth affairs department Deepak Anand has been made director of the consumer protection department, and agriculture department joint secretary Anil Kumar Jha has been posted as Revenue Board secretary.Cooperatives department joint secretary Sanjay Kumar has been made commissioner of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Schemes and joint secretary in commercial taxes department Ruby has been posted as the director of culture directorate in the art, culture and youth affairs department. She will also hold the post of joint secretary in the new department.Agriculture department joint secretary Sanjay Kumar Singh has been posted in the building construction department at the same post, while cooperatives department joint secretary Abhay Jha has been made administrator of the Bihar State Transport Corporation (BSTC), freeing minor irrigation department special secretary Ashima Jain from its additional charge. Transport department special secretary Sunny Sinha (IRSS) has been posted as the managing director of Bihar state textbook publication corporation.
