PATNA: Delhi state's ruling Aam Aadmi Party ( AAP ) will strive to provide on its own a "political alternative" to the people of Bihar.Talking to media persons in Patna on Thursday, AAP's national spokesperson Sanjay Singh categorically said his party would not ally with any political party in the state for the coming Lok Sabha and assembly polls.Singh, who was recently appointed the party's Bihar affairs incharge, said the AAP has formed its committees for all the 40 Lok Sabha and 243 assembly constituencies in the state. "Our coordinators for each Lok Sabha and assembly constituency are at work to strengthen the organisation and expand our base in the state," he said.In some of the Lok Sabha constituencies, such committees have been formed up to the block and panchayat levels. "In Kishanganj and Araria, for instance, we have formed committees even at booth level," he said.Highlighting the achievements of Arvind Kejriwal government in Delhi, Singh said the AAP government's work in only three years was more than the work of many state governments in 70 years."Our government has brought about revolutionary changes in the education and health sectors in the national capital. Now, parents of children prefer government schools over public schools in Delhi," he said.About healthcare facilities, he said the Delhi government was providing free medicare in government hospitals and bearing the expenses of those who cannot pay for medicare in private hospitals.
