A one day motivational programme Self Transformation for Achieving Result (STAR) was organised at CPTI Centre of SAIL,  Rourkela Steel Plant  in association with Management Training Institute (MTI), Ranchi on 23rd January 2024. Ajit Kumar Shah, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Steel, Government of India was the Chief Guest of the programme. Dr. Pranab Kumar, GM (Academic) and Senior Faculty (MTI, Ranchi) was the faculty for the session. 27 employees including one executive from BSLCL attended the programme. The main objective of the was to Enhance the Self Motivation of the participants so that they can exhibit higher engagement at work for better performance and result. The subjects covered during the programme were challenges before BSLCL, Self motivation and its importance in life and work, sustaining self motivation through positive attitude, growth mindset and emotional intelligence, and personal development plan for self motivation  for higher performance. At the outset H Pati, GM (HRD), RSP welcomed the gathering while L Marandi, Senior Manager (HRD) proposed a formal vote of thanks and coordinated the programme.
