Rains lash State, minimum temperature comes down

The minimum temperature has come down due to heavy rains in various districts including Ranchi ahead of Holi festival in Jharkhand. The effect of the steep turf of Bengal will remain in Jharkhand till March 21. It had more impact on March 20. Its effect will start reducing from 21. The weather will be dry from March 22. No significant change is expected in the weather till March 25. In many parts of the state including the capital Ranchi, the sky has been cloudy since Wednesday morning and it is raining intermittently at many places. However, the suns winks are also visible. Earlier on Tuesday too, it rained at many places along with strong wind and thunder from afternoon till late night. According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of cyclonic circulation and turf formed in the Bay of Bengal is being seen in Jharkhand these days. Meteorologists are also considering it as pre-monsoon rain. The forecast states that light to moderate rain will continue in many districts including Ranchi during the next 48 hours. But the sky is expected to clear from March 22. After this the weather will remain dry till Holi. Ramgarh district received maximum rainfall of about 40 mm in the last 24 hours. At the same time, there was 37 mm rainfall in Ranchi, 20 mm rainfall in Lohardaga, 19 mm in Mandu and about 16 mm rainfall in Lohardaga. Scientist in-charge of Meteorological Center Abhishek Anand said that the effect of the system formed in the Bay of Bengal will remain in Jharkhand for the next two days. The system will weaken after March 21. Due to its effect, it is raining in many parts of Jharkhand and Bihar. There may be rain at some places with strong wind on Wednesday. Wind speed can be 30 to 40 km per hour. There is a need to be cautious about this.
