Meghalaya logs 577 new cases, Total cases tally crosses 50K mark

Meghalaya received 577 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours while six people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.

Meghalaya received 577 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours while six people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.

As on 1st July, the state`s total cases tally has reached 500,90. The north-eastern state has 4,537 active cases currently.

The cumulative recoveries reached 44,709 after 250 under-treatment patients recovered from Covid-19 in the last 24-hours. The total fatalities in the state have climbed to 844 after five deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours.

The new cases of infection include 157 from East Khasi Hills, 260 from Ri-Bhoi, 34 from West Garo Hills, 21 from West Jaintia Hills, 24 from East Jaintia Hills, 27 from West Khasi Hills, 6 from South West Garo Hills and South Garo Hills, 14 from West Khasi Hills, 12 from East Garo Hills and 16 from North Garo Hills.
