more-in Preparations are in place for hoisting of flags at Nagore Dargah on February 17 for Kanthuri festival. The flags will be hoisted on the five minarets of the dargah, which houses the tomb of Hazrat Syed Hameed Quadir Vali, after being taken through the streets of the town. The festival will conclude with annointing of sandal paste on the tomb during the intervening night of February 26 and 27, a dargah administrator said. In anticipation of arrival of thousands of devotees from across the country and outside, the municipal administration is in the process of ensuring sufficient water supply, sanitary arrangements and other amenities. The local body, besides ensuring that the streetlights are working, has also cleared obstacles along the six roads leading to the dargah.
