Two die as car hits motorcycle in TN

While they were trying to cross the highway, a speeding car from Trichy hit the motorcycle.The Viralimalai police registered a case and arrested car driver Hariharan, 43. Both hailed from Rajagiri village near Viralimalai.V Vellaisamy, 50, who was riding the motorcycle, sustained grievous injuries. TRICHY: Two men died on the spot and another suffered injuries when a car hit a motorcycle near Viralimalai on the Trichy - Madurai – Tuticorin national highway on Wednesday.The deceased have been identified as M Vaidyanathan, 60, and A Govindan, 72. He was admitted to Government Hospital in Trichy.The accident happened around 11am when the trio were returning from Viralimalai town to their village on a motorcycle.
