Suspecting it to be murder, as there were injury marks on her head and neck, police sent the body for post-mortem.The police identified the girl as P Baby from Sankaranpalayam. Trichy: Police arrested a 22-year-old man for strangulating his lover to death, in Karur district on Sunday.The accused identified as Anbarasu from Namakkal confessed to the crime and told the police that he killed her as she had been demanding both to get married.The body of a 21-year-old woman was recovered from popular Muthaliyar canal by Vangal police a couple of days back. Further investigation is on. Upon checking her mobile call log, Anbarasu was found to have been frequently speaking to her and was near the canal on the day of the incident.During interrogation, Anbarasu confessed to have been in a relationship with her and hit her on the head with a sharp object after she pestered him with getting married.
