VADODARA: A trader living near Sayaji Township on Ajwa Road lost Rs 1.7 lakh cash from his car near Kishanwadi on Saturday night.Victim Tejpal Gurnani, who sells building material from his shop near Kishanwadi, told police that an unidentified man, who had stopped his car near his shop had stolen the bag carrying cash by diverting his attention.According to Gurnani’s complaint, the accused stopped his car near his shop to inform that his car’s front wheel’s tyre is punctured. After parking his car at the garage, Gurnani went back to his shop to check if he had left the bag there however it was not there and the person who stopped his car had also left from there.Gurnani then went back to the mechanic’s workshop where he was informed that the tyre was not punctured, but somebody had mischievously deflated it.
