GNFC Participates in the 10th Edition of India Chem 2018 in Mumbai

India`s first cashless township, Bharuch based Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd (GNFC) took part in the 10th edition of India Chem 2018 at NSE Nesco Complex, Bombay Exhibition Centre.

India Chem is a biennial international exhibition and is the largest event of Chemicals and Petrochemical industry in India, jointly organized by Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, GOI and FICCI.

Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Shipping, Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Nitin Gadkari during the inaugural ceremony on 4th October said, it is time for the country to go for alternative fuel sources such as ethanol, methanol and bio-diesel and announced Government’s plan to start pilot project in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Pune and Guwahati to run electric buses on Methanol. GNFC is the largest Methanol manufacturer in the country.

The GNFC is the market leader in the manufacturing of industrial chemicals like Toluene-Di-Isocyanate (TDI), Acetic Acid, Formic Acid, Aniline, TGU etc.  It had also participated in the past editions of India Chem. It is an excellent platform to connect and network with potential customers, especially international one’s for exports. GNFC’s stall caught the attention of visitors and garnered remarkable footfall during the exhibition. GNFC’s marketing team led by Executive Director Mr. DB Shah, who attended the exhibition, had some fruitful discussions with industry leaders from India as well as abroad.

The most important objective behind organizing the India Chem and GNFC attending the event is to highlight the investment possibilities in the country`s chemical industry and give a fillip to "Make in India" initiative of the Government of India. A congregation of over 300 leading chemical and petrochemical companies from all over the world predominantly from Iran, China, Japan, United Kingdom, Spain, USA, Germany, Italy, Brazil, Turkey and South East Asian countries participated as exhibitors, delegates and visitors.
