15 die in Central Gujarat in separate road accidents

Sources said that three persons died on the spot while one person died during treatment at a private hospital in Dahod town. Vadodara: Fifteen persons died in separate road accidents in Vadodara and neighbouring districts on Sunday and Monday.On Sunday night, Mitul Patel, a resident of Virod, died on Fatehgunj flyover-bridge after his bike slipped. Patel was on his way to Amitnagar Circle to board a bus to Ambaji when he lost control over his bike and fell. Police said that Patel collided with the divider leading to his death.An elderly couple from Waghodiya – Bhaga Vasava and Savita Vasava – was knocked down by a car near Patiyapura village in Waghodiya on Monday. The truck’s tyre burst while it was coming from Dahod due to which it turned over.In Moti Kharaj village in Dahod district, four persons died when a bike and an auto-rickshaw had a head-on collision.

The couple was returning home from their farm when the accident took place. While Bhaga died on the spot, Savita succumbed during treatment in hospital. During the same time, two youth riding on same motorcycle died when they collided with a roadside pole at Sundarpura village near Varnama.In the neighbouring Chhota Udepur district, four persons died when their bikes collided with each other in Bodeli on Monday evening. The deceased have been identified as Chirag Nayak, Karan Nayak, Govind Sapaliya and Jaideep Rathwa.A five-year-old boy Bipin Bhil and Chirag Soni, a 29-year-old pedestrian, died after a truck turned over in Godhra on Monday evening. The truck’s tyre burst while it was coming from Dahod due to which it turned over.In Moti Kharaj village in Dahod district, four persons died when a bike and an auto-rickshaw had a head-on collision.
