Vadodara: The internal groupism in the Baroda Cricket Association (BCA) was on a glaring display when former BCA and BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel accused the management of being insensitive towards the condition of ex-India player Jacob Martin.Patel and former BCA president, Samarjitsinh Gaekwad said on Thursday that the association is doing nothing to help Martin, who is undergoing medical treatment at a private hospital for last three weeks.BCA officials, however, said that they promised full help to Martin’s wife a week ago. “It is a shame that BCA hasn’t provided any financial help yet. He was the captain of Baroda team and played for India too,” Gaekwad said.Patel said that he wrote an email to the BCCI CEO Rahul Johri on Thursday and sought help. “BCCI has promised to pay Rs five lakh by Friday.
