Vadodara: As the swine flu scare continues across the state, nine more patients in city and district tested positive of the viral infection on Tuesday.A total of 16 samples of patients from the city and Vadodara rural were tested at SSG Hospital of which nine including five from within the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) limits and four from Vadodara rural have tested positive.The fresh cases from within VMC limits were reported from Manjalpur, Maneja, Diwalipura, Tarsali and Kishanwadi areas. The five patients who have tested positive in the city include four females and one male.With this, the total number of swine flu positive patients in the city has reached 656 of which 530 have been cured, 26 have died, condition of 92 patients is said to be stable while eight patients are currently under ventilator.In Vadodara rural, the four positive cases were reported from Jaspur village of Padra taluka, Sidhapur village of Dabhoi taluka, Gujarat Refinery township at Bajwa and Undera village.The four patients include three male and one female. With this, the total number of swine flu positive patients in Vadodara rural has reached 166 of which 130 have been cured, 11 have died, condition of 23 patients is said to be stable while two patients are currently under ventilator.
