RSS forms team of 35K workers to reach each house in 27 districts of Kashi Prant

Varanasi: Mobilising its cadres from 27 districts of the Kashi region, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has finalised its strategy to reach each household in 22,000 villages before Ram Lallas idol consecration at Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya on January 22.At a meeting held at Gokul Dham in Harahua area here on Sunday, the RSS finalised its plans to form teams of over 35,000 volunteers in each district.As per the plan, five lakh RSS workers will contact every village in groups of 5 and invite them to reach Ayodhya for the ceremony. The meeting was attended by the regional Prachar Pramukh Rajendra ji along with other senior functionaries and the office bearers of all 27 districts of Kashi PrantPrant Pracharak Ramesh called upon the workers to set out for the grand campaign with an aim to cover 100% houses. Keeping in mind the principle If even one house is missed, the campaign cycle is broken, they aim to achieve the target of contacting 100% houses. He reminded the workers that during fund collection campaign for the construction of Shri Ram Temple, Kashi Prant presented an example of its vitality and hard work by collecting Rs 74 crore during the Covid era, against the target of Rs 51 crore. We are confident that this will be the worlds largest campaign run by the worlds largest organization, said Ramesh.This campaign will be run with full enthusiasm in the entire Kashi Prant from January 1 to 15, he said adding that Prabhat Pheri will be take out in every village from January 18 to 21 to create awareness among people. Ramesh said that a committee of 35 to 40 workers would be formed at the district level to ensure success of the campaign. The second group of 30 workers will work at the block and the city level. In this campaign, women will also be given proper representation.A team of five workers will be formed for each village to deliver the invitation cards. On January 18, the main rituals will commence with Ganeshambika Pujan, followed by Mandap Pravesh and Yajnabhumi Pujan. The religious committee will choose the best idol on December 15, which will be installed in the temple on January 22. The idols are being made by three sculptors using stones from Karnataka and Rajasthan. The ground floor of the temple, including the sanctum sanctorum, is nearly finished.
