more-in Andhra Pradesh SC /ST Commission member and Krishna district in-charge Sudha Rani on Monday recorded the statement of CISF constable Dasari Nagaprasad Babu who is facing the charge of assaulting a police Circle Inspector during the Masula beach festival, at the District Government Hospital here. Ms. Sudha Rani told The Hindu that the SC /ST Commission had launched an investigation into the arrest of the CISF constable and the manner in which he was taken into custody. “The commission has recorded the statements of the CISF constable. As per the doctors of the District Government Hospital, his condition is stable. There are a few injuries found on his body on Monday,” said Ms. Sudha Rani. She said that a detail report with the statement of the CISF constable would be submitted to the Chairman of the State SC&ST Commission.
