more-in N.V. Surendra Babu, RTC Managing Director, on Tuesday underscored the need to bring in modern technology to improve its performance. He was addressing the Deputy Chief Traffic Managers (CTMs) and the Regional Systems Supervisors at a day-long hands-on training programme. Interim relief Mr. Surendra said the management had granted 19% interim relief to the employees despite the fact that it would thrust an additional burden of ?250 crore on the organisation. He said the employees and the workers would never be deprived of the benefits they deserved. The management wanted the work force to be happy and contented and contribute towards speedy recovery of the RTC in the best possible way. Occupancy ratio He said the only way to improve the occupancy ratio in RTC buses was to win the hearts of the commuters. Every individual in the organisation should behave in a responsible way which in turn would help the Corporation grow. Executive Director (Operations) G. Jairao, ED (Engineering) A. Venkateswara Rao, Vijayawada zone ED A. Ramakrishna, Chief Traffic Manager Brahmananda Reddy, Senior Manager (IT) Srinivasa Rao and others participated in the programme.
