The police on Sunday arrested a printing press owner for allegedly printing and selling foreign and Indian novels without obtaining the copyrights. On a tip-off, a team led by inspector Murali Krishna, raided the press of Md. Bashi alias Basha at Gollapalem Gattu under the Two Town police station limits, and seized 1,240 books, including some foreign novels and books of various publications, said Deputy Commissioner of Police-II Nawab Jaan, at a press conference here on Sunday. Some of the seized novels include Jeffrey Archer’s Tell Tale, I Too had A Love Story, You Can Achieve More, Train to Pakistan, Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Gateway, The ABC Murders, I am Malala, The Mother I New Knew, said Mr. Jaan.
