Brahmotsavams Day 2 Lord on Hamsa Vahana

Accompanied by family members including IT minister Nara Lokesh , Naidu offered silk robes to the presiding deity of Lord Venkateswara. The Lord will be adorned with the robes on the eve of the auspicious Garuda Seva festival.

The procession signifies the incarnation of the Lord assuming the form of a divine swan. According to legend, Lord Mahavishnu assumed the guise of a swan to restore the entire Vedic records to Lord Brahma, which were in the possession of a demon. The ritual explores themes of nobility and virtue, with the Lord conveying to humanity to embrace wisdom and shed all vices.On Thursday, AP chief minister Chandrababu Naidu offered prayers with his family. Naidu released the TTD New Year calendars. The CM offered prayers to Lord Malayappa Swamy seated atop the Pedda Sesha Vahanam at the Vahana Mandapam. The CM presented a set of ‘Pattu Vastrams’ to Lord Venkateswara.At a ceremony organised at Sri Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple, the priests tied the traditional ‘Parivattam’ to Naidu. Accompanied by family members including IT minister Nara Lokesh , Naidu offered silk robes to the presiding deity of Lord Venkateswara. The Lord will be adorned with the robes on the eve of the auspicious Garuda Seva festival.
