Vice President Venkaiah Naidu visits Tirumala temple

TIRUMALA: The Vice President, M Venkaiah Naidu visited the temple of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on Tuesday.The Vice President, speaking to media after darshan outside Tirumala shrine, said that he came along with his family to thank the presiding deity on the successful completion of his one year tenure on the coveted post. The temple pundits offered the dignitary traditional Isthikaphal swagatham.After darshan, the Vice President and his entourage were offered Vedasirvachanam in Ranganayakula Mandapam. The TTD EO offered him Theertha Prasadams and laminated photo of Lord Venkateswara. "I have been coming to Tirumala like a common man since my childhood. It gives me new energy and instills confidence in me to execute my responsibilities with more commitment.
