Traffic diversions for four months

Vehicles coming from Gollapudi, Punnami Ghat, Bhavanipuram to Vijayawada, should travel through Kabela, CVR Flyover, Chittinagar, Andhra Prabha Colony, B.R.T.S. The road will be closed for about four months and the traffic will be diverted at different places in the city and in Krishna and the neighbouring districts, the police said. Heavy vehiclesHeavy vehicles coming from Hyderabad to Chennai should travel through Narketpalli, Miryalguda, Pidiguralla, Sattenapalli; and the traffic coming from Chennai to Hyderabad should divert at Ongole, Medarametla, Addanki, Pidiuguralla, Nalgonda, Narketpalli and reach Hyderabad. The police will impose traffic restrictions/diversions to facilitate Kanaka Durga Flyover works from Ghat road to Gollapudi in Vijayawada Police Commissionerate limits. Similarly, the vehicles proceeding from Eluru to Hyderabad should take diversions at Hanuman Junction, Nuzvid, Mylavaram and Ibrahimpatnam.

Traffic proceeding towards Gollapudi from Police Control Room (PCR) should proceed via KR Market, Chittinagar, Sitara Centre and the vehicles can also proceed towards Eluru Road, Budameru, A.S. Nagar Flyover, Andhra Prabha Colony, Y.V. Rao Estates and reach Gollapudi. Vehicles coming from Hyderabad to Eluru should take diversion from Ibrahimpatnam, Mylavaram, Nuzvid, Hanuman Junction. Similarly, the vehicles proceeding from Eluru to Hyderabad should take diversions at Hanuman Junction, Nuzvid, Mylavaram and Ibrahimpatnam. Traffic from Hyderabad to Guntur should proceed via. Ibrahimpatnam, G. Konduruj, Kandulapadu cross road, Kothur Tadepalli, jakkampudi Layout, Pamula kaluva, Y.V. Rao Estates, Ramavarappadu Ring Road, and reach Benz Circle. Heavy vehicles Heavy vehicles coming from Hyderabad to Chennai should travel through Narketpalli, Miryalguda, Pidiguralla, Sattenapalli; and the traffic coming from Chennai to Hyderabad should divert at Ongole, Medarametla, Addanki, Pidiuguralla, Nalgonda, Narketpalli and reach Hyderabad. Traffic intended to travel from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad will be diverted via. Devarapalli, Tallada, Khammam and Suryapeta. Likewise, heavy vehicles starting from Visakhapatnam to reach Chennai, should take diversion at Hanuman Junction and travel via. Gudivada, Pamarru, Avanigadda, Bapatla, Ongole. The restrictions and diversions will be implemented today from 6am onwards, the police said.
