Mary Navya, an osteoporosis patient from Indrapalem in the city. In all, 463 people from different parts of the district submitted their complaints and grievances to Mr. Misra and Joint Collector J. Radhakrishna Murthy. He also highlighted the need for resolving the complaints being channelised through the Lok Ayukta and the Human Rights Protection Committee. Jobs on compassionate grounds, ex gratia to the victims of different cases, boundary disputes and pending cases formed major part of the grievances.

The girl’s mother Latha brought it to the notice of the Collector that her daughter was unable to attend the school regularly due to immovability and sought help from the government. 463 complaints received Marking the inaugural of the special grievance redressal for the aged and the differently-abled in the ground floor of the Collectorate building, Mr. Misra presented the wheelchair that costs about ?5,500 from the Sarva Siksha Abhiyan and a chocolate box as his personal gift to the girl and blessed her with all success in her future endeavours.
