VIJAYAWADA: Factionalism raised its ugly head again in Kurnool district, resulting in the murder of a man by his rivals at Rudravaram village under Kalluru mandal on Monday. The assailants attacked the man after knocking him down with a car while he was going to his native village of Pasupula from Kurnool town on his motorcycle.The deceased was identified as Boya Krishna. When Krishna reached the spot, they knocked him down with an SUV and hacked him to death with hunting sickles. The miscreants lay in wait for their target on the roadside as they knew that he was coming in that direction. Faction rivalry is said to be the reason behind the murder.
