OMG! Actor Tom Alter is suffering from bone cancer

The Padma Shri awardee is popularly known for working in several films like Charas, Shatranj Ke Khiladi, Gandhi, Kranti

Film and theatre actor Tom Alter, who is 67-year-old, has been diagnosed with bone cancer which is now on fourth stage.

As per sources the news came less than a week after Alter was discharged from a city hospital, where he was admitted for body pain.

His son Jamie Alter confirmed the news.

The Padma Shri awardee is popularly known for working in several films like Charas, Shatranj Ke Khiladi, Gandhi, Kranti, Bose: The Forgotten Hero etc. Apart from films, he is known for TV sitcom Zabaan Sambhalke which made Tom Alter a household name.
