Are digital identity platforms about to go mainstream in Asia?

A new report from Juniper Research says that ‘government issued digital identity credentials’ will grow by over 150% in the next five years. Currently standing at 1.7 billion users, this is expected to grow to over five billion in 2024. Juniper believes that single sign on will drive much of this growth, with over a billion users by 2023, generating over $5 billion in revenues. The potential for mobile, digital identity schemes has been around for years. Mobile identity makes perfect sense.
