Students sans history textbooks

The teachers have been left with no option as they are not aware of new syllabus to be taught and summer holidays are just around the corner. Regarding the syllabus, there are only selected chapters which have been removed.”

Principal Ajit Vidialay Senior Secondary School Rama Mahajan said, “We have postponed history exam as students does not have history books. Even teachers are confused and do not know which syllabus they should teach.” Mangal Singh Tanda, president, Government Teachers Union said,“ The PSEB should issue instructions related to which chapters should be taught from the old syllabus.” Deputy DEO Rekha Mahajan said, “I am sure that the Board will soon provide updated history textbooks to the students. Regarding the syllabus, there are only selected chapters which have been removed.”
