After his appointment as Mayor, Karmajit Singh Rintu had ordered the MC staff to remove all congratulatory hoardings from roads and streets. The officials said they did not have the required number of trucks and other vehicles which were required to remove the hoardings. The MC’s advertisement wing is still struggling to remove the hoardings of newly announced Cabinet ministers.
