BATHINDA: A farmer died after being crushed under Happy Seeder machine in his fields at Sadda Singh Wala village of Moga on Saturday. The victim , identified as Sukhjinder Singh, 50, was preparing his field for sowing wheat with a Happy Seeder when the incident occurred on Saturday afternoon.According to the information, Sukhjinder alighted from the Happy Seeder to check progress in his fields while the machine was still in motion. As he tried to sit on the machine again, he slipped and was crushed under it. Farmers in nearby fields heard some noise and saw the machine moving on its own without the driver and they rushed to the spot. By the time the farmers reached there, Sukhjinder had died.
