AMRITSAR: Three women were charred to death in a fire incident in Amritsar on Tuesday. However, sources said that all the women were followers of a particular cult, but the same was not confirmed by the police. Sources also said that police didn’t’ find any clue of short circuit. Additional deputy commissioner police JS Walia said that body of the three women were found in a house in Mochian Wali Gali in Gate Hakima area of the walled city.He said it was not clear how the fire broke out in the house, adding that police were investigating the incident through various angles.Sources said that the women were identified as Indu and her sisters Preeti and Vandana.Walia said that Indu's two sisters who lived in Delhi were staying with her for the past some time.
