Amritsar, June 7Mayor Karamjit Singh Rintu has conducted a meeting with officials of the health, operation and maintenance wing of the Municipal Corporation (MC) and instructed sanitary inspectors to keep a check on hygiene and cleanliness of their areas. He instructed Ajay Kawar Singh and other employees of the health wing to ensure cleanliness at every nook and corner of the city. “Inspectors have to assure lifting of garbage and debris from roads and streets,” he said. He instructed MC officials to ensure that every commercial establishment in their area should have trade licence. The Mayor reviewed the dog sterilisation centre.
