Four persons have been accused of assaulting son of the president of Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh Youth FrontTribune News ServiceAmritsar, June 8The court of Judicial Magistrate (first class) Ambika Sharma has summoned prominent trader Kulwinder Singh and three others in connection with a murder bid case. The case pertains to a “murderous” assault on Tej Karan Singh, son of Gurmeet Singh, president of the Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh Youth Front. He filed a complaint with the court in November 2016 while alleging that the police had worked under the influence of the suspects, who were very rich and influential. On the other hand, Kulwinder termed the allegations false while alleging that the complainant was misleading the court. He said another case of outraging a woman’s modesty was registered against them while Tej Karan spent sometime in jail for that.
