Boy handed over to welfare panel

Our CorrespondentTarn Taran, October 31The city police found a boy, aged around four years, roaming aimlessly in Tehsil Bazaar here today. The boy has been handed over to the District Child Welfare Committee. Inspector Gurcharan Singh, Station House Officer of the local police station, said the boy is not able to tell his name or address. Dinesh Gupta, Chairman, DCWC, said people had been informed through the public address system from different places and the boy was sent to the ‘Unique Home’ at the local Civil Hospital. The police have urged people to dial 9592048900 or 9779704714 in case they have any information about the boy.
