4 days on, police still clueless about kidnapped minor boy

Tribune News ServiceAmritsar, November 13Even after passage of four days, the police are still clueless about the kidnapping of a minor boy by two persons, including a woman, from Golden Temple complex here on Sunday. Though they claimed to recover the boy soon, they were yet to get any specific input regarding the victim. The CCTV cameras installed in the Golden Temple complex showed a person taking away the boy with them. Thereafter, Aditya went missing. The police said teams had been sent to various places to identify the suspect and locate the boy.

Amritsar, November 13 Even after passage of four days, the police are still clueless about the kidnapping of a minor boy by two persons, including a woman, from Golden Temple complex here on Sunday. The police have launched a manhunt to identify and nab the suspects wanted in the case. Though they claimed to recover the boy soon, they were yet to get any specific input regarding the victim. The incident came to light when family members of the victim, identified as Aditya, lodged a complaint with the police. The CCTV cameras installed in the Golden Temple complex showed a person taking away the boy with them. Raj Kumar, father of the victim, who is a resident of Sultanwind road area, told the police that on Sunday he, along with his family, had gone to the shrine to pay obeisance. He said a couple got befriended with them. The suspect went to langar hall with them. He said he, along with his family, came out of the langar hall. On reaching near Teja Singh Samundri hall, his son Aditya expressed desire to go to toilet. He said his other two children, Shivam and Sanjna, went with Aditya. Thereafter, Aditya went missing. He said he searched for him in the entire complex but couldn’t find him. Later on searching CCTV cameras, he found that the suspect had taken Aditya with him by taking advantage of the heavy rush. The police said teams had been sent to various places to identify the suspect and locate the boy.
