Six injured in highway pile-up

Charanjit Singh TejaTribune News ServiceAmritsar, December 10Six persons were injured in a pile-up of seven vehicles on the Amritsar-Bathinda highway near Bandala village here on Tuesday. Eyewitnesses said when a truck loaded with cement bags was taking a U-turn at Butt Morh, it hit a car coming from the opposite side. Within a few minutes, a mini truck, two cars and a bus were also involved in the pile-up. Two children in a car had a narrow escape while their parents got injured. While a truck was taking a U-turn at Butt Morh, it hit a car due to low visibility.
