Poster of 3D Punjabi movie released

Tribune News ServiceAmritsar, November 30After the Punjabi animation movie Chaar Sahibzaade, movie lovers are all set to experience another 3D Punjabi animation movie — Dastaan-E-Miri Piri — in 2018. The poster was released by Avtar Singh Sur Singh Wale, who was the chief guest on the occasion, in the presence of a number of dignitaries here today. The movie is based on the reached conducted by Dr Inderjit Singh, in charge of the Sikh Research Library and Museum of Khalsa College. The movie has been produced by the Chhattampeer productions. The title track of the movie has been sung by popular Bollywood singer Kailash Kher.

Amritsar, November 30 After the Punjabi animation movie Chaar Sahibzaade, movie lovers are all set to experience another 3D Punjabi animation movie — Dastaan-E-Miri Piri — in 2018. The movie has been produced by the Chhattampeer productions. The two-hour-long movie made with an aim to propagate moral and religious beliefs will bring to the fore Miri-Piri history and other aspects of the Sikh religion associated with it. The poster was released by Avtar Singh Sur Singh Wale, who was the chief guest on the occasion, in the presence of a number of dignitaries here today. The movie is based on the reached conducted by Dr Inderjit Singh, in charge of the Sikh Research Library and Museum of Khalsa College. He said, “We have researched a lot. We want to present the era of that time. We have studied about the kitty-gritty of that time. We are extra careful about depicting the history in a cinematic way.” He added that the idea is not to earn money but to tell the current as well as future generation about the relevance of Miri-Piri in the Sikh history. Dheeraj Singh, one of the producers, said, “Our aim is to send a message not to earn money. We as a team from the Chhattampeer production are dedicated to the cause of promoting our Sikh values.” Apart from Dheeraj, the move has been produced by Gurmeet Singh, Major Singh and Navdeep Kaur Gill. The movie has been directed by Mumbai-based director Vinod Lanjewar. The title track of the movie has been sung by popular Bollywood singer Kailash Kher. The filmmakers have also roped in animation experts from Hollywood as well as from Bollywood. SGPC officials were also present on the occasion.
