Tributes paid to Guru Ravidas

A student of class IX, Arshdeep Kaur, presented an explanation of several poems penned down by Guru Ravidas. Speaking on the occasion, college principal NK Gosain dwelt on the life, teachings and ideology of Guru Ravidas. On the occasion, president of the school management committee Dr GS Shekhawat and school principal Kanchan Baa paid floral tributes to the saint. Tributes were paid to the spiritual preacher by the students and the staff.

Tributes were paid to the spiritual preacher by the students and the staff. They remembered him for his ideology of love, compassion, mutual tolerance and universal brotherhood. Speaking on the occasion, college principal NK Gosain dwelt on the life, teachings and ideology of Guru Ravidas. He advised the students to follow the teachings of the great saint. Deputy Director of the Computer Science and Application Department Sarabjeet Kaur Dhillon, head of the Management and Commerce Department Rupinder Kaur Sidhu, NSS programme officers Bindu Doda, Harwinder Singh and superintendent Ravinder Singla were among those present on the occasion. The day was also celebrated at Guru Ram Das Public School. On the occasion, president of the school management committee Dr GS Shekhawat and school principal Kanchan Baa paid floral tributes to the saint. They told the students that poet Ravidas took up the cause of social ills through his creations. A student of class IX, Arshdeep Kaur, presented an explanation of several poems penned down by Guru Ravidas.
