Satej seeks revised Mahalaxmi temple development plan

Kolhapur: Congress MLC Satej Patil on Tuesday appealed to Kolhapur district guardian minister Deepak Kesarkar to make the revised Mahalaxmi Temple Development Plan public.He also urged the minister to at least present it to elected representatives of all parties. Recently, Kesarkar claimed that the state government had made some changes in the original temple development plan, and a presentation was held for Shahu Chhatrapati Maharaj, head of Kolhapurs royal family. Patil said, No elected representative knows the details of the plan. When I was a minister and got the development of Keshavrao Bhosale Natygruha approved, I conducted a public presentation. I appeal to the guardian minister to involve all of us in the development process. The minister said an international tender was issued to rope in a conservation heritage architect to restore the heritage look of the buildings surrounding the temple.
