Meerut: Aditi Garg, a 30-year-old woman, resident of Devlok colony under Transport Nagar police station area in UPs Meerut district, achieved a remarkable feat by securing 170th rank in the Uttar Pradesh Provincial Civil Service-Judicial exam (PCSJ). The results were announced on Wednesday and her accomplishment left her mother, Sadhna Garg, brimming with pride. "Shes the first in our entire family lineage to become a judge. Its a moment of honour as she joins the Indian Judicial System," her mother said. However, Aditis journey to this success was extremely difficult. Recollecting the past, Aditi shared with TOI, "I began preparing for the exam in 2016 and appeared for my first attempt in 2018. But soon after, the Covid pandemic disrupted life and my studies. We faced financial strains; my father, a shopkeeper, endured two heart attacks, and my mothers health also took a downturn. We even had to sell our home during these trying times." Despite these setbacks, Aditis spirit remained unbroken. She recalled, "That was perhaps the most challenging phase of my life. However, I leaned on my Masters in Law degree, and it became my beacon. I took up a guest lecturing role at the Law Department of Meeruts Chaudhary Charan Singh University. Not only did it provide me with a financial respite, but it also kept me engaged with my academic pursuits. Eventually, I found the rhythm to continue my studies."Aditi also mentioned how she sought inspiration. "I often watched movies with a societal message or those revolving around the judiciary, aiming to understand the intricate complexities of human behaviour," she said. Pavitra Narayan, Aditis guide, said, "Aditi comes from a modest background, and its solely her dedication and hard work that has earned her this prestigious recognition.
