1 killed, 2 hurt in Muzaffarnagar bull attack

Muzaffarnagar: A 50-year-old man died while two others were seriously injured in a bull attack in Bhandur village under Sikhera police station area of Muzaffarnagar. The incident occurred on Saturday evening when the man, Satish Saini, was working in a sugarcane field with his wife Maya Devi (45), and his younger brother Sant Kumars wife Kunta Devi (40).According to police, the stray bull attacked Saini, who was busy peeling sugarcane crops, killing him on the spot. When the women tried to save him, the bull attacked and injured them. Hearing their screams, locals in the area rushed to the spot and chased the animal away. The injured women were taken to a nearby hospital where they are undergoing treatment.SHO Sachin Sharma said, The body was sent for autopsy. Both women are seriously injured and are being treated at the hospital. Further investigation is on.Notably, in August last year, a farmer – Raj Singh, 45, a resident of village Titawi in Muzaffarnagar, had gone to the farm to get fodder for his animals when a bull attacked and killed him.
