Farmhouse owner, partner hacked to death in Gajraula

AMROHA: A farmhouse owner and his partner were hacked to death in the Gajraula area of the Amroha district on the intervening nights of Monday and Tuesday.Anirudh Singh, the 28-year-old owner who stayed at the farmhouse, and his partner Ratanpal Bhati, 32, were killed with a sickle. Meanwhile, one of the workers at the farmhouse, Jeet Kumar, a resident of Hapur, was also assaulted. His condition is said to be critical.According to the police, the trio was sleeping on the farmhouses premises when they were attacked. The incident came to light only when the milkman arrived at the farmhouse early on Tuesday morning to deliver milk. He alerted the police after finding the bodies lying in a pool of blood."Police registered a case against at least seven individuals under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) after a family member of the deceased filed a complaint.
