3 found dead in separate incidents in Bijnor dist

Bijnor: Three persons, including one woman, were found dead in separate incidents in Bijnor district. In the first incident, a 32-year-old man was allegedly battered to death with a brick over a minor dispute in Akbarabad village under Kotwali Dehat police station area. According to police, a dispute broke out between an unidentified man and Farman Ahmad on Saturday evening. Ahmad allegedly took a brick and repeatedly hit on his head, killing him on the spot. On information, police rushed to the spot and sent the body for autopsy. Police registered a case against the accused under IPC section 302 and arrested him. Bijnor SP Neeraj Kumar Jadaun, said that efforts to identify the deceased are on. In the second incident, a 30-year-old man allegedly killed his brother following a heated argument at Takhawali village under Dhampur police station on Saturday. Bijnor SP, said that the dead was identified as Satyapal Singh. The accused, Gajraj Singh, allegedly hit him with a bat on his head. Later, Gajraj dumped the body on the outskirts of the village. Police arrested him on Sunday. A case has been registered against the accused under sections 201 and 302 of IPC. In the third incident, a womans remains were recovered from a sugarcane field at Pitupura village under Seohara police station area. The woman went missing on September 20 when she ventured into fields. Police have registered a case under section 366 of IPC based on the complaint filed by the deceaseds family members.
