Yogi launches projects worth over 350 crore

SHAMLI: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday inaugurated 311 projects worth Rs 351 crore for infrastructure development in Baghpat district. He told a gathering at Janta Vaidik College (JVC) in Baraut, The foundation of Indias development lies in villages, and the state is actively pursuing development projects without discrimination. There would be no tolerance of lawlessness or discrimination in UP. He proposed upgrading JVC into a university to ensure students have access to better facilities. The CM said, This region has seen a massive transformation over the years. The method involves providing pre-excavation support measures and changing the alignment of the rail line. The engineers inserted nine-meter pipes in the mountains and used a chemical called PU grout to solidify the soil. Despite the challenging terrain, the engineers plan to complete the tunnel by early next year.PM Modi reviews progress of 8 projects worth around Rs 31,000 crorePrime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a PRAGATI meeting to review the progress of eight key projects worth around Rs 31,000 crore. The projects include water supply, irrigation, national highways, connectivity, rail, and metro rail connectivity. PM Modi emphasized the use of technology, such as satellite imagery, to address implementation and planning issues. He also advised stakeholders to appoint nodal officers and form teams for better coordination. The meeting also reviewed the progress of mobile towers and 4G coverage projects. So far, 348 projects with a total cost of Rs 17.36 lakh crore have been reviewed in PRAGATI meetings.
