MUZAFFARNAGAR: A 65-year-old woman was allegedly raped by a 20-year-old man in Aligarh on Monday night when she was taking dinner to her husband in an orchard. The complainant alleged that the accused pulled her into a field where he sexually assaulted her. Hearing her screams, passersby rescued her but the man managed to flee.Akrabad police station SHO Awadhesh Kumar said based on the womans complaint, a case was registered on IPC sections 376 (rape) and 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty).
