Woman kills self after quarrel with hubby over social media posts

BIJNOR: A young womans love for posting reels on social media took a grim turn on Friday, as she became frustrated with her husbands frequent objections to her passion and, distressed by the persistent domestic discord, consumed poison. Neelam Saini (25), from Ramkheda village in Seohara region in Bijnor district, died during treatment at a hospital.Neighbours said Neelam, who had been married to Rinku, a labourer from Raja Ka Tajpur locality, for two years, enjoyed creating and sharing social media content.Her husbands disapproval, however, led to persistent conflicts and the couple often got into heated altercations.After a similar quarrel on Friday, she consumed poison. As Neelams health deteriorated, Rinku took her to a local hospital, where doctors referred her to a higher medical centre in Dhampur. She died during treatment.Neelams sister contested the allegations about her passion for social media and said that there were other reasons for the dispute between the couple. Seohara SHO Dheeraj Solanki said Neelam died in suspicious circumstances. Prima facie, it appears that she committed suicide.
