Staff Reporter :PROPERTY worth around Rs two crore was gutted in a devastating fire that broke out at Snehal Pharma & Surgicals Pvt. Ltd at Plot no B1/11 near Indorama Gate No 1 Butibori MIDC on Monday morning. With ISO 9001 : 2015 certification the unit is presently catering to the needs of 14 countries. Chief Fire Officer Uchake said that the fire was doused and prevented from spreading in adjoining units and saved property worth crores of rupees from devastation.

Staff Reporter : PROPERTY worth around Rs two crore was gutted in a devastating fire that broke out at Snehal Pharma & Surgicals Pvt. Ltd at Plot no B1/11 near Indorama Gate No 1 Butibori MIDC on Monday morning. Fire was confined to stock of IPA raw material used for manufacturing drugs electric wiring electric installation stock of packing material on three floors of the building with glass façade. Soon after receiving information about the incident firefighters from the Fire & Emergency Department of Nagpur Municipal Corporation led by Chief Fire Officer Rajendra Uchake rushed to the spot with four fire tenders. Fire tenders from Mihan Butibori and Wadi were pressed into service. Firefighters using hose lines of eight fire tenders doused the flames. The companys industrial unit is situated in D + Zone which was set up in June 2011 and headed by Managing Director Sudhir Deulgaonkar is engaged in manufacturing distribution marketing of tablets capsules liquids orals oral powders external preparations like spirits ointment creams and gels. The company has authorised loan licenses of HAL and KAPL. The unit is one of the most advanced plants in the Central area. With ISO 9001 : 2015 certification the unit is presently catering to the needs of 14 countries. Chief Fire Officer Uchake said that the fire was doused and prevented from spreading in adjoining units and saved property worth crores of rupees from devastation. No casualty was reported he added. Fire at five different places Fire broke out at five different places in the city on Monday — a restaurant in Manish Nagar a garbage in Raj Nagar forest on Amravati Road electronic market in Sitabuldi and Sagwan plantation near Central jail — giving a tough time to the Fire Department of Nagpur Municipal Corporation. No casualties were reported in any of incidents.
