Maharashtra`s Nagpur has shaken by the incident where Alok Maturkar, a Mathefiru Isma, committed suicide by killing five members of his family within the limits of the tehsil police station. It includes a wife, a son, a daughter, a mother-in-law and a sister-in-law. Alok used to sew clothes and sell them. His family also helped. The family feud had been raging for the past few days. Alok had a quarrel with his sister a few months back. A complaint was also lodged in this regard.
The family who went to work every day did not leave today morning. The door was closed, so the neighbors looked out the window and found the boy lying dead outside. The picture that came to the fore when the police arrived at the spot was horrible. Wife Vijaya and daughter Pari were found dead in the inner room. Alok had committed suicide by hanging himself. When police went to Alok`s mother-in-law for further interrogation, they found her mother-in-law and sister-in-law dead in their house.
Police received information about the incident around 12 noon. According to police preliminary estimates, the murder may have been caused by a family feud.
