Nagpur: The anti-corruption wing of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has netted a trickster, Sadiq Quereshi, for posing as personal assistant to the DIG, CBI, to extort money from a senior railway official. He was demanding ₹20 lakh from senior divisional mechanical engineer Sandeep Kumar Verma.Quereshi was threatening Verma of action as there were several complaints against him.He was demanding the hefty amount to settle the complaints. Following a complaint from Verma, the CBI nabbed Quereshi while he was accepting the first instalment of ₹1 lakh from the bribe amount.
