Woman knocks 55-year-old dead

Nagpur: Uttam Pawar, 55, a resident of Manewada was hit by a speeding two-wheeler while he was taking a walk on the road between Mangaldeep Nagar and Besa Chowk on November 4. The victim, who was with his friends, was immediately rushed to SIMS Hospitaland succumbed to the injuries on November 8. According to police, the accused woman and her vehicle number has been identified.Hudkeshwar police have booked the accused, who is still at large under charges of rash and negligent driving and driving resulting in death. A search for the accused is underway.
